This is a place where BJ owners will be able to share stories, photos, technical/mechanical tips, links, etc. As parts are hard to find in the U.S., we are currently working on developing a parts source.

Finally, a parts source for those of us outside China?

Here's hoping this works out, for the sake of all of us outside China who have struggled with parts access. I'm working with a gentleman in China who seems willing to act as an informal parts supplier to our small network of BJ owners around the world. He has a mechanic and parts supplier in China that knows these Jeeps better than the factory. Here's the simple plan: He can get the parts from this mechanic, then ship them to us. I've tried the first test run by ordering a carb and paying in advance via a bank transfer. He's now in the process of shipping it to me. Of course, he'll add a shipping and handling fee to make it worthwhile for him. But given the low cost of goods in China, it's still a pretty good deal for the rest of us. I'll follow up as soon as the transaction is complete and let you know how it goes.
